Bilingual Sr. Transactions Management Analyst

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Bilingual Sr. Transactions Management Analyst to join our client.

Contract Period: 14 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate: Starting from $35 per hour

Location: Montreal, QC

Location Type: Hybrid; 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Business Hours: Monday to Friday; Core Business Hours

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the timely, accurate, and complete processing of investment and trade transactions for North American and International investments, including exception handling and manual processes.
• Lead or assist in resolving transaction processing issues by liaising with Portfolio Managers, International and Third-Party Investment Offices, and other relevant divisions.
• Ensure data integrity and proper accounting for investments such as fixed income, equities, Money Market, Asset-backed, Interest-only, and Private Placements.
• Collaborate with various teams to develop new procedures, controls, and processing standards to maintain data integrity.
• Support the implementation of new initiatives affecting Securities Operations, including documentation, training, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and operational efficiencies through analysis.
• Follow established SOX documentation and controls, ensuring daily tasks adhere to risk and control procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Experience & Qualification Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in the securities and investment environment.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills with flexibility and judgment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Fluent in both French and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated initiative and teamwork skills.
