The Social Media Advisor supports the planning, coordination, and execution of brand initiatives and social media that enhance the organization's visibility, reputation, and engagement. This role contributes to the production development and delivery of creative campaigns, paid media, recruitment marketing, sponsorship activations, and social media community engagement and content coordination. By collaborating across teams and ensuring brand consistency, the Social Media Advisor helps bring strategic initiatives to life.

What You'll Do

  • Brand & Creative Strategy Support
    Assist in planning and coordinating brand campaigns, video production, and digital content. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure brand consistency.
  • Recruitment Marketing
    Support external recruitment campaigns by coordinating content and aligning messaging with employer brand goals.
  • Sponsorship Activation
    Help plan and execute sponsorship content and activations, ensuring alignment with brand values.
  • Social Media Monitoring & Coordination
    Monitor our brand presence across platforms, manage content calendars, schedule posts, and support performance reporting.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years in marketing, communications, or brand roles.
    • Experience with campaign coordination, content planning, and stakeholder collaboration.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and digital marketing channels.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Bilingual in English and French (required).
    • Experience with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
