Job description

Working with one of Ottawa’s prestigious and growing Crown Corporations, LRO Staffing is collaborating in the hire of a Bilingual Senior HR Business Partner. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources, this position is focused on employee engagement and retention. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use both their business acumen and their HR experience to balance the needs of the employees with the needs of the business.

Duties include but are not limited to :

  • Provide support and development to Managers on employee engagement, performance management, career development and succession planning
  • Contribute to the evolution and implementation of employee recognition and retention programs
  • Lead working groups who inform the P & C function
  • Be instrumental in finding creative solutions to HR issues within a fast-paced and complex professional work environment

About You

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • Post secondary education in Human Resources, Labour / Industrial Relations or related field with an HR designation being considered an asset
  • Over five years of relevant HR experience including experience in Employee Relations, HR Programs and Performance Management
  • Experience leading HR Projects
  • The ability to travel occasionally within Canada
  • The ability to hold a federal government security clearance / Secret level

About the Job

This position is a full time / permanent position offering an annual salary of $90,000 to $105,000 with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a pension. They are conveniently located downtown and offer a hybrid work arrangement that will see most employees in office once or twice weekly with occasional exceptions.
