Qualifications

• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident status required
• Fluent in both English and French (written and verbal)
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain required site clearances

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patrols to ensure safety and security of the site
• Monitor for fire hazards and security concerns
• Support emergency evacuation procedures and act as Fire Warden during emergencies
• Ensure fire exits and emergency equipment are accessible and compliant
• Maintain incident reports and fire safety documentation
• Monitor access control and verify staff and visitor credentials
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Provide professional customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors
• Communicate effectively with emergency responders and site personnel
