Responsibilities

Essential Functions: The Sales Development Rep-2 (SDR-2) is responsible for executing initial steps in the sales process. After completing an extensive 10-week hands-on training program—including online learning, role plays, and real-time sales scenarios—the SDR will:

  • Research and build call sheets of targeted customers using tools like LinkedIn and resources such as Candidates and current Consultants
  • Document, track, and research all leads from the Recruiter Lead Program
  • Build customer profiles and talk tracks using tools like Seismic and Gong
  • Perform outreach to targeted customers and document weekly activity
  • Partner with the Director of Business Operations to use the Inward Lens tool to identify lost customers and generate new meetings

Success in the SDR-2 role may lead to promotion to Account Manager, where additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing new and existing customer relationships using tools like Salesforce and Hoovers
  • Increasing sales and market share within assigned and new accounts
  • Engaging with prospective customers to identify needs and build relationships
  • Preparing and presenting sales proposals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associate Degree with 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience
  • At least 1 year of sales experience OR relevant academic or internship experience in sales OR active membership in a collegiate sales organization
  • A strong desire for a career in B2B sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • A sense of urgency, professionalism, and collaborative spirit
  • Strong willingness to learn

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $60,000+ with bilingual premium of $2,500, weekly commissions, and performance bonuses (quarterly and annually). Upon promotion to Account Manager, eligibility for monthly car and cell phone allowances applies. Benefits details can be found at TEKsystems Benefits.
