The Safety Officer will support, advise and educate Actionmarguerite management and staff on matters related to workplace safety and accident prevention across all sites. The role includes developing and monitoring health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with legislation, and coordinating training to reduce hazards.

Travel between sites is required; the position is bilingual (French/English) and reports to the Training, Development and Safety Manager. Open until filled.

Competenze

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health required.
• CRSP within 2 years of hire preferred.
• First Aid/CPR required.
• Class 5 Driver license required.

Mansioni

• Support and educate management and staff on workplace safety and accident prevention.
• Develop, monitor and implement health and safety policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation across all sites.
• Lead and deliver safety training and presentations.
• Travel between multiple Actionmarguerite sites as needed.
• Notify management of safety incidents and concerns promptly.
