Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is looking to hire Reimbursement Specialists to join their remote team in Canada on a 6-month contract basis.

The Responsibilities For This Position Include

  • Act as the primary contact for enrolling patients within the patient support program, notifying prescriber sites once enrolment is successfully completed
  • Conduct welcome calls to gather information, introduce patients to the support program, and inform patient of all program offerings, such as case management support, reimbursement support, self-injection training, prescription coordination and ongoing compliance
  • Liaise with patients, insurers and physicians regarding documentation required to maximize reimbursement coverage
  • Complete financial means assessments with patients in accordance with Program offerings
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure that patients have access to, and receive their treatment in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and maintain patient appointment schedules to ensure optimal clinic and homecare efficiencies are achieved
  • Work collaboratively with Program management and other team members to address concerns, needs and escalations
  • Maintain detailed cased notes and ensure all assigned patient files are up to date within the CRM database
  • Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs) immediately
  • Act as a resource for Program stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, patients, clinics and the patient


The Qualifications For This Role Are

  • 1+ year of customer service experience within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Fully bilingual in English and French
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and Windows platform


Other Details

  • Training will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm EST
  • Will be assigned a set shift between 8am - 8pm EST
  • This position is a fully remote role and requires a private home workspace with a fast internet connection
  • Equipment is fully provided
  • Will have access to Manulife benefits during the contract duration


Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
