As a Regional Communications Consultant at John Hancock, you will work with diverse clients to contribute to our retirement plan and investment initiatives. Your responsibilities include on-site enrollment and education services, effectively communicating retirement concepts to employees, participants, and plan sponsors. You will also participate in virtual meetings, delivering remote presentations and supporting internal and external partners. This role is remote in Texas with potential travel within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with intermediaries to schedule and conduct on-site enrollment and education meetings in English and Spanish (if applicable), tailored to audience needs.
- Respond promptly to questions about John Hancock plan investments, services, products, and 401(k) programs.
- Assist plan sponsors and intermediaries during on-site enrollment meetings, ensuring proper use of tools and accurate representation of John Hancock.
- Collaborate with intermediaries and sponsors to grow assets through successful education and enrollment initiatives.
- Manage the delivery of materials for enrollment and education meetings.
- Deliver remote presentations, including group sessions and website demonstrations.

Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience in education or pension/defined contribution sector.
- 2-3 years in a similar role.
- Life insurance and variable licenses for the territory.
- NASD Series 6 and 63, or ability to obtain within six months.
- Industry designations like APA, APR, ChFC are a plus.
