Job Description: Bilingual Project Manager (French & English)

Overview: The bilingual (French and English) Project Manager oversees the installation of Workplace Infrastructure (WPI) and Monitoring projects across Canada. This role involves project management, technical implementation, consulting, and sales support, including creating 3D drawings. The Project Manager conducts site assessments, design consultations, implementations, analysis, troubleshooting, and provides technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize revenue.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage WPI projects in Canada, including defining project organization, creating implementation plans, establishing project teams, and monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Serve as a technical consultant during field implementations and address service escalations for WPI products, providing solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct pre-installation site visits, offer technical guidance, communicate requirements to customers, and develop project checklists to ensure all tasks are completed before site departure.
  • Review datasheets and CAD drawings with customers, create and verify 3D files, and present project layouts and room configurations.
  • Collaborate with clinical, technical, and sales teams to assess customer environments, recommend technical strategies, and develop detailed installation plans.
  • Assist with technical aspects of RFPs, including preparing specifications and managing technical requests.
  • Coordinate problem-solving efforts, including order confirmation, invoicing, delivery, training, and service coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support or project management role.
  • Experience working with or selling to general contractors, planners, C-level executives, biomed, and clinicians.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Ability to learn new technologies and instruct others.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is desirable.

  • Bilingual fluency in French and English preferred.

  • Good understanding of electronics, electrical, and mechanical applications.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Infrastructure and 3D tools is an asset.
  • Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and international travel documents.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a safety-sensitive position with potential post-employment drug screening.
  • Ability to work in a hospital environment, lift objects under 25 lbs, and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, and climbing ladders.
  • Travel to customer sites by vehicle or air as needed.
