LeverageTek is actively seeking a Project Manager (People Analytics and HR Systems) for a 36-month term with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks
- Lead the delivery and management of HR Systems projects, including status reporting, resource planning, task management, risk management, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Develop detailed project descriptions to support HR and corporate planning processes.
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and activities.
- Provide guidance, training, and coaching to HR team members.
- Lead change management processes on HR Systems projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define HR Systems project requirements.
- Research, recommend, develop, document, and implement solutions to enhance processes and improve project success.
- Develop and maintain lessons learned for future projects.
- Assess, mitigate, and monitor risks related to HR Systems projects.
- Develop and implement HR processes for compensation, payroll, pension, and benefits.
- Develop and maintain HR reporting and data analytics.
- Research and present annual compensation recommendations, including Pay Equity and analytics.
- Advise management on complex HRIS, payroll, and data analytics issues.
- Assist with special HR projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, focusing on data privacy and security.
- Maintain effective relationships within the team and with stakeholders.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop and maintain HR systems, processes, and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
- Experience leading HR Systems projects, including resource planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
- Experience in HR reporting and data analytics.
- Proficiency in HCM systems, data-driven decision-making, and legal compliance.
Qualifications
Knowledge
- Best practices, trends, and legislation in HR, focusing on compensation, HCM, data analytics, and payroll.
- ERP and HCM systems.
- Workplace collaboration tools.
- Project and risk management principles.
Education, Certification, and Experience
- Minimum: University degree in Computer Science, HR Management, or related field with six years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
- Preferred: Certified HR Leader or Payroll Manager; additional project management training (e.g., PMP).
