Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State is hiring a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived lab tests, CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry. You will ensure accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care in a busy lab setting.

Requirements include WA MA-P certification, a high school diploma or GED, and excellent customer service with phlebotomy skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; pre-hire competency testing is required.

Qualifications

• Active WA State MA-P (Medical Assistant–Phlebotomist) certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with proper specimen handling.
• Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation.
• Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs.
• Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA.
