What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the single point of contact for patients enrolled in the support program and their prescribing physicians
- Conduct welcome calls to gather information, introduce patients to the support program, and obtain necessary patient consent
- Inform patients about all program offerings, including reimbursement support and self-injection training
- Act as a patient advocate, exploring funding options for medications and managing documentation for successful reimbursement outcomes
- Coordinate program services effectively, ensuring prompt access to therapy and ongoing patient support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- College Diploma or University degree is required
- 2-3 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, preferably with direct patient interaction
- Familiarity with public and private third-party drug reimbursement plans
- 2-3 years of experience in a Customer Service or Call Centre setting
- Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, with experience in MS Office and customer relationship databases
