Job Overview

Proactively provide expert advice on mortgage renewal and financing needs, products, and solutions to retain and expand customer share. Fulfill sales and service activities following approved procedures, identify opportunities for referrals, and utilize various communication channels to enhance customer experience and meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive the sales process during inbound and outbound customer contacts regarding mortgage renewal and home financing options.
  2. Incorporate marketing promotions into customer interactions when appropriate.
  3. Manage transactional outcomes or refer to relevant teams.
  4. Negotiate home financing pricing to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
  5. Understand customer needs related to mortgage renewal, investments, and financing; provide advice aligned with customer interests.
  6. Handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  8. Escalate complex issues to management as necessary.
  9. Complete documentation to ensure accurate processing of customer requests.
  10. Research and investigate lending applications following established procedures.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
  12. Comply with regulatory and compliance standards, including AML, FCAC, and Privacy Act regulations.
  13. Stay updated on banking and lending products, integrating knowledge into customer interactions.
  14. Handle diverse tasks within given guidelines, including escalations, and analyze issues for next steps.
  15. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience and/or related certification preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of personal lending and home financing products.
  • Understanding of market trends and product offerings.
  • Familiarity with contact center operations and technology.
  • Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in French and English, supporting clients and team members within and outside Quebec.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $37,500 - $69,500; Pay type: Salaried. Salaries vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications, and may include commissions.
