Your everyday with us :

  • As a Bilingual Medical Underwriter you will have the opportunity to :
  • Analyze and manage medical underwriting requests
  • Determine product eligibility for our applicants
  • Prepare documentation administer operational practices including invoicing manage information systems and communicate with customers
  • Analyze and review medical risks based on medical evidence requirements making quality decisions regarding eligibility of coverage and issuance of personal health or life plans
  • Interact with clients brokers / agents physicians and other departments over the phone using various technologies and demonstrating exceptional administrative skills

What you need to succeed :

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree and / or relevant working experience in Nursing or the healthcare field.
  • Excellent communication skills clear and concise through email letter and phone with confidence in explaining decisions
  • A consistent Whatever it takes attitude enjoying new challenges every day
  • Strong technical aptitude ability to multitask and navigate multiple software applications simultaneously
  • A medical or insurance background is a definite asset
  • To meet the needs of the business bilingualism is required for this position (written spoken reading)
