Position: Bilingual, Medical Receptionist – Primary Care

Description:
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of clients in Primary Care. The main duties include phone and client reception, client intake, appointment booking, completing tasks as requested, and rostering clients.

Requirements:

Essential
  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience as a medical receptionist.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
  • Proficient with Windows-based computer systems, including email, MS Word, and databases.
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with a diverse population.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge and practice of gender-affirming principles.
  • Availability to work some evenings and weekends.
  • Experience with a medical scheduling system (desirable).
  • Experience working in a community-based health or social service agency (desirable).
Language Skills

English and French spoken, English written.

Salary: $42,768 - $46,945 annually

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
