Bilingual Manufacturing Representative

Ambulance / Patient Transfer Vehicles

Malley Industries has an immediate opening for a fully bilingual Manufacturing Representative.This highly technical role serves as liaison between our North American fleet customers and the company’s sales, engineering, and service personnel. The role is that of a problem solver, finding solutions to customer-related technical needs through effective collaboration with internal stakeholders involved in the manufacture of finished ambulances and patient transfer vehicle conversions.

The successful candidate will have experience in a fast-paced work environment with demonstrated proficiency in technical roles such as engineering or emergency paramedical care. Spoken and written fluency in both official languages is required.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be part of a dynamic sales team who are the “face” of the company as seen by our customers. The Manufacturing Representative is the voice of the customer within our business and is the customer’s advocate within our operation. Your ability to work collaboratively within the organization to achieve the common purpose of satisfying our customers will be the hallmark of your success.

Product knowledge will be key to success in this role. You will be required to work closely with all internal teams; including operations, engineering, purchasing and warranty to ensure that client expectations are communicated effectively to the rest of the company, and that the entire customer experience is managed proactively and with a sense of urgency.

Education: Completion of a post secondary degree or college diploma with relevant business experience. The highly technical nature of this role is also suited to individuals with an engineering or paramedical background.

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in client facing technical sales/support role.

Required Skills:

  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of clients’ ambulances and patient transfer vehicles in a project-based model;
  • Demonstrable ability to clearly communicate, present and influence key internal and external stakeholders;
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail;
  • Ability to make sound commercial decisions and back up account managers in all divisions;
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and objection handling abilities’
  • Assist with challenging client requests or request escalations as needed
  • Proven work experience in a “client facing” role
  • Demonstrated oral and written proficiency in English and French required.
  • This position will require occasional travel within North America.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM software
  • Relevant post secondary certificate or degree
