Fairstone Bank in Canada is seeking a Loan Consultant to help grow our lending business with a focus on promoting loan and protection products, understanding client needs, and guiding customers from application to closing.

You will build trust through excellent service, manage both in-person and virtual sales, and collaborate with teammates to meet individual and team targets. A high school diploma is required, with bilingual English/French ability preferred.

About the role:

As a Loan Consultant, you’ll play a key part in growing our business by:

• Actively promoting and selling loan and protection products in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
• Understanding customer needs to recommend the right financial solutions
• Managing the entire sales process, both in person and virtually — from application to closing
• Building strong relationships and earning trust through excellent service
• Staying focused on individual and team sales goals
• Performing credit assessments, processing payments, and managing overdue accounts

• High school diploma (post-secondary education in finance, sales, or business is an asset)
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience or customer service with a focus on meeting/exceeding targets
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma (post-secondary education in finance, sales, or business is an asset)
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience with a focus on meeting/exceeding targets
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering value
• Must be able to communicate in both French and English with our customers across Canada. (30% English, 70% French). The candidate will be expected to communicate with customers, respond to inquiries, handle documentation, and conduct sales and service activities in both English and French on a daily basis.

• Expected base hourly rate of $20.05, plus the opportunity to earn uncapped monthly bonuses tied to performance—your success drives your earnings.
