Purpose of the Role

The Licensed Insurance Advisor is responsible for selling life and critical illness insurance to consumers. This includes identifying client needs, providing information, answering inquiries, submitting applications, and maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and needs analysis, and complete sales applications
  • Accurately record prospect feedback in an online system
  • Meet sales targets and quality measures on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Communicate regularly with prospects and clients through verbal and written modes
  • Support marketing and sponsor campaigns
  • Sell and service life insurance products sold by Canada Protection Plan
  • Maintain life insurance licensing in good standing
  • Perform other duties as required
Key Qualifications
  • Provincial Life and Accident & Sickness licenses
  • Prior experience in a call center is preferred
  • Proven sales background
  • Ability to follow scripts and regulations
  • Fully bilingual in English and French, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent
  • Reside in Quebec
