  • Prepare reports as delegated by the treating clinician.
  • Assist with return-to-work planning.
  • Ensure gym area is organized and safety compliant.

Our CBI Health center is looking for a Bilingual Kinesiologist for a full-time position within our interdisciplinary team in Moncton, New Brunswick. Here is an opportunity for you to do a job that you love every day. By using your skills in exercise therapy, you will achieve exceptional clinical results and client engagement with the patients you treat while helping them return to work and their daily activities at all stages of their care towards rehabilitation.

Responsibilities
  • Treat Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), LTD, WSIB and private patients in a gym setting
  • Work under the direction of the Chiropractor, Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client
  • Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
  • Complete employer assessments such as Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to confirm job capability of essential job demands
  • Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician
  • Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning
  • Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards
Qualifications
