WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Bilingual Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources needs across Corporate Functions. This role is a 12 month contract.

In this role, you will:

  • Administer internal approval process for salaried employee transactions ensuring HRIS (JD Edwards) is updated and maintained.
  • Act as a key liaison between Human Resources and Payroll, ensuring a seamless and efficient transfer of payroll information
  • Support various HR Programs (i.e. Benefit Programs, Employee Perks Program, Employee Recognition Program, Company Car Program, Cell Program, leave management, etc.)
  • Work on HR Reporting – learning program reporting and quarterly compliance training reporting
  • Deploy & tracks all mandatory company-wide e-learning programs to salaried employees including onboarding.
  • Administer onboarding process for new salaried employees within Corporate Function Teams including enrollments, training, and HRIS entry.
  • Prepare and issue employment and reference letters, manage and reconcile vacation records, and administer the Milestone Reward Program by coordinating employee gifts with vendors.
  • Be an active member of the Joint Health and Safety committee, develop meeting agendas, coordinate member training and events, conduct regular health and safety inspections

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bilingualism (French) is a must
  • University or College degree (in Business, preferably Human Resources)
  • Obtained or working towards CHRP designation
  • 2-3 years of experience in an HR capacity
  • You will be a trusted partner to the business, operating with professionalism and confidentiality
