Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Contract Bilingual Human Resources Specialist to join our HR Operations team for 12 months. The position can be based at any of our locations across Canada and includes the following responsibilities:
- Support the HR Operations Team with administrative and operational tasks across Canada; prepare presentations on HR initiatives and respond to inquiries.
- Manage and maintain data in Workday HRIS, ensuring data integrity.
- Handle offboarding tasks, including processing terminations and collating employee data for Payroll.
- Review employee lifecycle letters for accuracy and coach HR Coordinators on best practices.
- Assist employees with Leave of Absence preparations and processing in Workday.
- Administer and prepare promissory notes in coordination with HR Advisors and Payroll.
- Participate in ad hoc HR operational projects and other duties as assigned.

Your experience and education
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in English is required due to frequent communication with English-speaking clients.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced HR environment with knowledge of employment legislation, HRIS (Workday), and core HR functions such as benefits and leave administration.
- Post-secondary Diploma or Degree / Certificate in Human Resources is an asset.
- Currently pursuing or completed CHRP designation.
- Strong PC skills, including Excel.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards.
