About the Role:

Altis Technology is seeking a Bilingual Helpdesk Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first to third-level technical support (hardware, software, client computing)
  • Troubleshoot via phone, Teams, email, and in person
  • Support Windows 11 upgrades and associated software updates (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, OpenText eDocs)
  • Deliver user coaching and contribute to IT support documentation
  • Collaborate with broader IT teams on solution delivery
Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Computer Science or related field (Canadian-recognized)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant IT support experience
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Must hold Secret security clearance
Rated Assets:
  • 2+ years Helpdesk experience
  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems
  • Proficiency in remote control tools for troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM / Config Manager
  • Hands-on PowerShell scripting
  • Experience supporting Windows 10 to 11 upgrades
