Job summary

Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, ON, is seeking a Guest Services Agent for a part-time, on-site role. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, you will greet guests, check-in and assist with tours while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

This position requires bilingual English/French, cash-handling skills, and proficiency with Opera or similar PMS. You should be comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and potential overnight shifts, with a strong team

Qualifications

• Fluent in both official languages (English and French).
• Previous Front Desk Agent experience in a similar environment.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must be able to handle cash effectively and accurately.
• Computer literate with Opera, Property Manager and Delphi, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to our internal and external guests.
• Assist with tour check-ins and greet the tour guide and groups when required.
• Generate reports for other departments in the hotel.
• Key member of crisis & emergency team.
• Register and checkout hotel guests.
• Act as an ambassador of Fairmont Château Laurier.
• Greet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed.
• Available evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Available to work overnight shift, when required.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description
