Mercana is seeking a Business Growth & Development Intern for Quebec to help expand into the French-speaking market. You will identify potential customers, build a pipeline, and support onboarding of new accounts across retail, design, and ecommerce channels in Quebec.

This internship focuses on learning how business development drives real-world growth, with opportunities to travel to the High Point Market in North Carolina and collaborate with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing studies in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Bilingual in French and English, verbal and written.
• Outgoing, confident, and proactive with strong communication skills.
• Interest in business development, sales, or entrepreneurship.
• Willing to travel for market engagements and events.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and support outreach to new business opportunities across retail, design, and e-commerce.
• Assist building and maintaining a pipeline of target accounts.
• Support outreach activities via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
• Conduct market research on target markets, competitors, and potential customers.
