BDO GrantMatch is hiring Funding Analysts to identify and develop government funding opportunities for clients across Canada. This remote, nationwide role focuses on researching funding programs, drafting compelling applications, and collaborating with Funding Specialists to deliver high-quality submissions.
Candidates should have a university degree and exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
Putting people first, every day BDO is a firm built on a foundation of positive relationships with our people and our clients. Each day, our professionals provide exceptional service, helping clients with advice and insight they can trust. In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.
BDO GrantMatch is a leading government funding consultancy with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations across Canada and the United States identify, secure, and manage government funding. Our team works with organizations across virtually every industry - from advanced manufacturing, food processing and clean technology to aerospace, municipalities and other public-sector organizations - supporting projects involving capital investment, innovation, workforce development, sustainability, infrastructure and economic growth. Our experience and extensive funding knowledge also power GrantMatch™ , our proprietary technology platform used to identify and evaluate government funding opportunities across North America. As our team continues to grow, we are seeking three Funding Analysts to join BDO GrantMatch remotely from anywhere in Canada. One position will require professional fluency in both English and French.
A university or college degree in English, Communications, Business, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates from other educational backgrounds will also be considered where professional experience demonstrates exceptional research, writing, and analytical capabilities. Previous experience in grant writing, proposal development, business writing, consulting, research or government programs is considered an asset but is not required. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint. Experience working successfully in a remote or highly collaborative digital environment is an asset. Due to the frequent and complex contact with our English-speaking partners and clients in Quebec and outside of Quebec, and the need to draft documents in English, knowledge of English is essential for this position.
Successful Funding Analysts at BDO GrantMatch are curious, dependable, and exceptionally thorough. They take ownership of their applications, develop strong partnerships with their Funding Specialists and consistently produce high-quality work. They take time to understand the client’s project, understand what the funding program is trying to achieve, and connect the two through a clear, credible and compelling story.
