Job summary

Sun Life Québec is seeking a licensed Financial Services Consultant, Wealth, to help existing Sun Life clients maximize retirement savings and achieve financial goals. The role emphasizes relationship-building, advisory guidance, and sales execution without cold calling.

You will engage via phone and video meetings, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Sun Life products and market trends while delivering personalized, compliant financial guidance across Canada and beyond.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP) or Insurance of Persons License in Quebec (PQAP)
• Bilingualism in French and English is required to answer calls across Canada and worldwide.
• Strong communication skills to build rapport over the phone and via video.
• Experience selling investment, retirement, or financial products is an asset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact existing Sun Life Group Retirement Savings plan members who are leaving or recently left to discuss keeping assets with Sun Life.
• Conduct primarily phone-based consultations, with video meetings as needed, to understand client goals and financial situation.
• Recommend savings, investment, and insurance solutions based on client needs and life stage.
• Build meaningful client relationships with a professional, personalized, and advice-driven experience.
• Stay current on Sun Life products, industry trends, regulatory expectations, and changes in the financial services marketplace.
