Job Description

Overseeing and managing the financial operations of Ayming Canada Inc. The main duties include financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting to ensure the company’s financial health and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis : Develop and manage forecasts, budgets, and models. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights for senior management.
  2. Financial Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS). Monitor cash flow and reporting.
  3. Budget Management : Lead annual budget preparation and monitor performance, addressing variances and aligning with business goals.
  4. Accounting : Assist in preparing and managing the general ledger. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations (bank, receivables, payables). Support in preparing financial statements. Post journal entries in line with company policies. Assist with tax filings and regulatory compliance. Provide documentation for internal and external audits. Suggest improvements for accounting processes.
  5. Risk Management and Compliance : Identify financial risks, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and manage audits.
  6. Team Leadership and Development : Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring proper resource allocation and meeting deadlines.
  7. Strategic Decision Support : Provide financial insights for business strategies, capital investments, and cost-saving initiatives. Collaborate with other departments to optimize profitability and cost control.
  8. Systems and Tools : Maintain and improve financial systems (ERP, accounting software) and implement process automation.

Qualifications :

  3. Proven experience as a finance manager or in a similar financial role (typically 5+ years).
  4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles.
  5. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Excel).
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
