Job description

We are looking for an engaged individual to take on the role of Field Nurse Case Manager. This role is responsible for managing specific cases related to patient reimbursement and coordination for the NavieGo branch of the organization. The Nurse Case Manager acts as the primary contact for their assigned healthcare providers and oversees the overall management of patient cases.

How you will make an impact
  1. Coordinate the entire patient journey;
  2. Travel occasionally for on-site clinic visits;
  3. Serve as the primary contact for physicians to enroll patients into NavieGo managed programs;
  4. Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clinics and physicians, including site visits;
  5. Request missing or additional information from physician offices, pharmacies, and healthcare providers;
  6. Manage all aspects of obtaining prescription drug coverage for patients;
  7. Coordinate with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to support treatment journeys;
  8. Handle documentation, submissions, and paperwork for insurance and funding programs;
  9. Arrange clinic appointments and drug deliveries within specified timelines;
  10. Build and foster relationships with patients and healthcare providers;
  11. Implement best practices to maximize patients' access to drug coverage;
  12. Coordinate pharmacy processes after funding is secured;
  13. Utilize in-depth knowledge of public and private funding systems;
  14. Work rotating shifts Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 8 PM EST.
What you’ll bring to our team
  1. Bilingual in English and French is required;
  2. Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse with current provincial licensing;
  3. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or insurance industry is an asset;
  4. At least 2 years of experience in customer service and healthcare reimbursement;
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications;
  6. Professional, courteous, and efficient communication skills;
  7. Strong organizational skills to prioritize and multitask effectively;
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  10. Effective problem-solving skills;
  11. Critical thinking abilities;
  12. Availability to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday supporting various Canadian regions.
