Job summary

BluMetric Environmental Inc. is seeking an intermediate Environmental Auditor who is fully bilingual in English and French. The successful candidate will support environmental compliance and management system audits across Canada, with a focus on Quebec clients.

This role blends auditing responsibilities with applying technical environmental expertise in BluMetric’s multidisciplinary projects. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of experience in environmental auditing or related fields, holds VE

Qualifications

University degree or technical diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Assessment or related studies.

Responsibilities

Assist in drafting Audit Plans and Audit Reports under the supervision of a Lead Auditor.
Participate as an Environmental Auditor conducting document review, interviews, on-site examinations, compliance and conformance assessments and reporting.
Contribute to the formulation of recommendations based on audit findings.
Schedules and tracks key engagement milestones and deliverables to ensure completion within established period.
Provides regular status reports on progress to the Project Manager.
Ensures the engagement is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Professional Standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Maintains confidentiality and pursues continuous professional development.
