Job summary

FutureJobHub is seeking a polished, experienced Bilingual Driver Trainer to deliver, assess, and coach driver training programs while supporting trainee development.

The role requires 1+ year trucking industry driving experience, bilingual French & English, and a willingness to travel, including potential U.S. trips of up to two weeks and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or High School Diploma with 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum 1+ year trucking industry driving experience.
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
• DZ/Class 3 or higher license preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Windows skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on driver training using adult-learning techniques.
• Coach, assess, and provide constructive feedback to trainees.
• Conduct final evaluations and coaching sessions.

Job description

We’re seeking a polished, experienced Bilingual Driver Trainer to deliver, assess, and coach driver training programs while supporting trainee development and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom and hands-on driver training using adult-learning techniques.
• Coach, assess, and provide constructive feedback to trainees.
• Conduct final evaluations and coaching sessions.
• Maintain accurate attendance, schedules, observations, and training records.
• Collaborate with driver trainers and field managers regarding trainee needs and operations.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree OR High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of work experience.
• 1+ year of trucking industry driving experience.
• Bilingual French & English – spoken and written.
• DZ/Class 3 or higher preferred.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Waste/trucking industry experience and prior supervisory/training experience strongly preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Windows skills.

Important:

During the first 6 months, frequent travel to the U.S. will be required, with trips of up to 2 weeks at a time.

Relocation assistance may be available for an ideal candidate.
