Job summary

Serco Canada Inc. is hiring for a customer-focused Driver Examination Services role. The selected candidate will support Ontario driver’s licence issuance, verify applicant identities, and provide information on licensing processes in both French and English.

Responsibilities include vision screening, test administration, scheduling road tests, and fee collection, while ensuring compliance with safety and confidentiality standards across Serco sites.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Customer Service Agent training program
• GED or high school diploma as a minimum
• Must hold a valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
• Must be fluent in French and English
• Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and related regulations
• Two years’ experience with demonstrated excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service during the delivery of Driver Examination Services.
• Providing information and assistance to applicants for all classes of licences.
• Reviewing applicant information to determine eligibility for a variety of licences.
• Conducting vision screen testing, photographing applicants, and administering tests.
• Scheduling and dispatching road tests and issuing temporary licences.
• Collecting fees for a variety of transactions.
• Investigating problems or errors on the driver record and initiating corrections.
• Comply with regulations, policies and procedures including OHSA and confidentiality.
