Job description

AppleOne is hiring a Bilingual Dispatch Agent in Montreal, QC.

Pay rate: $20 / hr

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Job Description:

In this role, the dispatcher agent will be responsible for entering or scheduling deliveries into the system. They will not be involved in arrangements with truck drivers.

Responsibilities:

1. Process all outstanding non-payments at least 48 hours prior to delivery.
2. Check and respond to all messages promptly at the start of each shift.
3. Answer incoming calls immediately to maintain excellent customer service.
4. Respond to driver calls without delay and promptly inform the customer service department of any product defects requiring a technician.
5. Notify the warehouse manager via email when inspections are required.
6. Confirm 25 deliveries per shift.
7. When scheduling customer pickups at the warehouse, clearly communicate operating hours and accepted payment methods.

Requirements:

1. Previous dispatching experience (1 year minimum)
2. Must be fluent in French and English
3. Exceptional customer service and communication skills
4. Ability to use computers
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Multitasking skills with a high level of accuracy in quality of work
