Job Description:

The Bilingual Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for our clients, providing outstanding support and ensuring a seamless experience. This is a remote, work-from-home position, working 20 hours a week in the Eastern Time Zone. Candidates across Canada are welcome to apply, with a preference for those in Ontario and Quebec.

The CSR role primarily involves handling inbound calls and orders in English or French from business/medical customers in the optometric or ophthalmic fields.

Customer Support Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally
  • Providing product information, order status updates, and resolving delivery or billing issues
  • Processing orders and returns accurately in our system
  • Collaborating with operations, sales, and technical support teams
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Updating product and customer data in our CRM and inventory systems
  • Responding to inquiries or prospects from marketing/social media outreach
  • Building rapport with prospects and customers via phone or online

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or college certificate (post-secondary education is an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Excellent communication and listening skills in English and French (both written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with systems
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Quick learner capable of developing product and industry knowledge
