Primary Job Function and General Overview

The bilingual customer service representative is responsible for handling English / French external and internal correspondences and telephone calls. This role involves delivering customer satisfaction through product knowledge, processing orders, answering inquiries, and troubleshooting issues. The representative should anticipate product availability to fulfill customer needs and ensure satisfaction.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Fluent in speaking and writing in English and French.
  2. Knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central, SPS Commerce, and EDI PO processing.
  3. Monitor daily incoming and existing orders for EDI issues, inventory, ship-to setup, and distribution coordination.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI errors for timely processing of purchase orders and shipments.
  5. Manage Amazon catalog availability, ensuring SKUs / ASINs are enabled or disabled based on inventory.
  6. Coordinate EDI setup with accounts, cross-referencing account details, locations, item data, and delivery dates.
  7. Support FGL accounts, including order processing, management, and invoicing through SPS Commerce.
  8. Ensure timely order fulfillment, follow up on backorders, and shipment tracking.
  9. Update orders in Docuware and answer calls using the Five9 system.
  10. Process customer orders, respond to inquiries, and resolve service issues professionally.
  11. Handle warranty requests, ensuring follow-up and policy compliance, with product knowledge as a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Fully bilingual in English and French.
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience with Incorta, E1, SPS Commerce, and EDI systems.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, purchase orders, and catalog management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (advanced skills).
  • Excellent data entry, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Secondary School or College Diploma.

Working Conditions: General office environment.

Language Skills

Ability to interpret documents and communicate effectively in English and French, both written and verbal.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform calculations related to discounts, interest, and percentages; proficiency in Excel required.

Physical Demands

Regular sitting, use of hands, reaching, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting objects up to 25 pounds. Visual and hearing abilities required.
