Job description

Classification : Accounts Receivable Clerk

Compensation : $26.00 to $30.00 hourly

Robert Half has a superb opportunity for a bilingual Credit Coordinator at a highly regarded Hi Tech Engineering company. You will join a fast-paced and very dynamic department where you will be responsible for reviewing high volume of Pricing claims and Return Authorization requests and proceed according to company guidelines. You will maintain high level of professionalism while communicating with customers and stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Research and validation of price discrepancies requests.
  • Download original customer billing & Approved Price list.
  • If claim is valid; proceed with Credit memo entry with backup & request management approval.
  • If claim not valid; respond back to customer or sales division with detailed reason for decline.
  • Answer inquiries about pending pricing claims.

Return Authorization process :

  • Filter and reviewing incoming customer's requests and follow guidelines in qualifying customer’s requests.
  • Communicate with customers on missing information.
  • Select customer account number carefully and cross reference product purchase with previous sales history.
  • Confirm that product are purchased by the customer from SECA directly and not through other dealers
  • Follow process of entering the request in the system to obtain a Return Authorization number.
  • Attach proof and all photos submitted to support the request.
  • Electronically submit approved Return authorization info and forward instruction to customer to ship the products.
  • When request is declined, must explain return policy to customer and provide professional reasons for rejecting requests.
  • Answer customer’s escalations in a timely manner to minimize further customers escalations to Sales Management.

Job Requirements :

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
  • Bi-lingual French / English is an asset
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the SECA organization, customers, and finance agencies.
  • Ability to deal with difficult customers and guide them thru the reasons of rejecting their request
  • Efficient in ERP systems
  • AA or BS / BA degree in Accounting or related field
