Overview

The Contingent Labour Office’s (CLO) mandate is to partner with the business to enable an expedited and customer-centric positive approach to engaging external resources. This involves:

  • Utilizing internal contingent workforce expert practitioners, who stay up-to-date on market intelligence.
  • Acting as trusted advisors, educating, challenging the status quo, and advising the business on creative solutions.
  • Delivering a customer-centric approach by minimizing administration efforts, anticipating needs, and collaborating with Hiring Managers.

Location: Anywhere in Canada; virtual work opportunity (1-2 days in office per month may be required).

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Leader of the CLO, the Contract Manager will:

  • Advise and support Hiring Managers in engaging external resources across Canada.
  • Handle complex cases, escalations, and requests efficiently.
  • Manage complex contract revisions, risk assessments, and relationships.
  • Partner with internal SMEs and external providers on various matters, including legal, risk, procurement, and compliance.

The candidate will also be responsible for:

Case Management (Standard)
  • Promoting CLO’s brand through a customer-centric approach.
  • Managing cases in KPMG’s vendor management system (Flextrack).
  • Training internal clients on system use.
  • Conducting due diligence and maintaining documentation.
Case Management (Complex)
  • Managing escalations and complex cases with SMEs.
  • Negotiating contracts and drafting clauses.
  • Assessing risks related to classification, compliance, and external legislative requirements.
Continuous Improvement / Projects
  • Recommending process improvements and staying current on legislation.
  • Leading or participating in projects.
Miscellaneous
  • Responding to inquiries and providing reporting and training.
  • Managing challenging relationships and supporting firm initiatives.

What You Bring To The Role

  • College or University degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in contract labour or contingent workforce case management.
  • Experience drafting third-party agreements and liaising with multiple parties.
  • Knowledge of immigration matters related to resourcing.
  • Fluent in English and French, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Legal training or experience, and familiarity with ServiceNow and Flextrack, are assets.

This role requires fluency in English. Support and collaboration with English-speaking colleagues are expected.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The base salary range is $73,000 to $109,500, with potential bonuses, depending on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
