Job summary

The Montérégie West Community Network seeks a Community Engagement and Project Coordinator to advance poverty reduction and social inclusion projects. You will work with community members, partners, schools, and organizations to deliver outreach activities, consultations, workshops, and cultural events that strengthen engagement, understanding, and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a related degree, experience in outreach and coordination, and strong French-English communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as community development, social services, or equivalent.
Fluency in English and French is required.
Experience in community outreach, engagement, and project coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outreach, focus groups, consultations, surveys, and engagement activities.
Plan and deliver workshops, cultural events, storytelling, and other initiatives.
Build partnerships with schools, service providers, municipalities, and community organizations.
Maintain project records and provide administrative and reporting support.
Support indigenous and English-speaking communities and youth, seniors, and partners.
Coordinate meetings, schedules, and outreach for the Community Advisory Committee.
