The Bilingual Communications Lead will play a key role in developing and executing strategic communications initiatives that advance FP Canada's mission of championing better financial wellness for all Canadians by leading the advancement of professional financial planning in Canada. Through compelling storytelling and comprehensive campaigns, the Bilingual Communications Lead will help to strengthen FP Canada’s reputation as the leader in professional financial planning in Canada. This new role requires an excellent writer and a creative, strategic communicator who is fluent in both English and French.
Reporting to the Director, Communications, the Bilingual Communications Lead will manage one direct report and effectively manage multiple projects, collaborate across teams, and deliver compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences in both official languages. The Bilingual Communications Lead will monitor trends and developments, measure the effectiveness of communications, and translate insights into continuous improvement.

FP Canada employs over 80 people, and our office is located in downtown Toronto. This is a full-time permanent position working 5 days per week, during core business hours, with some flexibility required. We offer a hybrid-work model, requiring at a minimum, two days a week (40%) on average, of employees’ time be spent in the office. This hybrid position is based in Toronto; however, we welcome applications from qualified candidates across Canada who are seeking a fully remote arrangement.

Salary based on experience, ranging from $90,000 to $95,000.
