What You Will Do

Reporting to the Leader of the Contract Labour Office (CLO), the Contract Manager will handle processes and resolve challenges related to external resources across Canada, managing over 1000 external resources annually. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical guidance to Hiring Managers on engaging external resources.
  • Managing complex cases independently, including escalations and requests.
  • Handling complex contract revisions, risk assessments, change management, and relationship management.
  • Collaborating with legal, risk, procurement, security, finance, and other experts on various matters.
  • Addressing high-risk cases involving compliance, classification, immigration, taxation, data security, and more.
Candidate Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Promoting the CLO’s brand through a customer-centric approach.
  • Managing cases within KPMG’s vendor management system (Flextrack).
  • Training clients on system use.
  • Performing due diligence and maintaining detailed records.
  • Managing complex and high-risk cases, mediating negotiations, and drafting agreements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and participating in projects.
  • Responding to inquiries, providing reports, managing escalations, and leading educational sessions.
Qualifications
  • College or university degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract labor or contingent workforce management.
  • Experience drafting third-party agreements and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of immigration, legal, and compliance matters.
  • Bilingual in English and French, with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ServiceNow and Flextrack is a plus.

This role requires fluency in English and may involve supporting English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders. Candidates should be prepared to interpret and apply relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
