Provides accurate and professional service by telephone, written mail or e-mail. Supports administrative requirements to ensure the smooth operation of the unit. Service provided for one of the different insurance channels that offer BMO Life Assurance products, and includes either policyholders, prospects and infinity partners, or managing general agencies (MGAs), distributors, brokers, and policyholders or creditor insurance customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Seeking, recognizing, and acting upon opportunities to expand business relationships.
- Answering inquiries and providing accurate information about insurance products.
- Responding to information requests and following established protocols.
- Resolving issues and escalating as required.
- Processing client service and administrative requests according to established procedures and policies, and submitting for approval as needed.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
- Analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Supporting change management activities, focusing on execution and sustainment.
- Reviewing official documents before completing forms to ensure proper authorization and compliance with guidelines.
- Performing policy administration tasks and submitting for approval as required.
- Supporting the development of tools and training for business delivery.
- Integrating information from multiple sources to improve processes, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensuring all client communications meet compliance requirements and maintaining accurate records in systems.
- Handling complex tasks and escalations, analyzing issues, and determining next steps.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Shift Schedule:
Rotation shifts from 8:30 to 4:30, 9:00 to 5:00, or 10:00 to 6:00.
Experience and Education:
Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of products, processes, policies, and practices.
- Understanding of policy contract wording and interpretation.
- Good collaboration, team, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
