As we expand our asset management division, we are seeking a talented and mission-aligned Bilingual Associate Portfolio Manager to join our team.

Position Overview :

We are looking for a full-time Bilingual Associate Portfolio Manager to play a key role in our investment management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of client portfolio management and will support functions across business development, client service, marketing, and investment research. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven organization shaping the future of Halal investing in Canada.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail and institutional clients
• Respond to inquiries from prospective and existing clients regarding our wealth management services
• Support client onboarding, suitability assessments, and investment discussions
• Act as a subject matter expert for our investment team when communicating with clients
• Provide updates on portfolio positioning, capital markets, and relevant financial trends
• Assist with the production of internal and external investment reports
• Contribute to marketing content, social media updates, and help center materials
• Support investment team functions, including economic and market analysis, product research, and portfolio construction
• Participate in investment committee meetings
• Collaborate across teams to improve onboarding and servicing workflows

Qualifications :

• Native / professional proficiency in both English and French (oral and written) — required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in wealth management or investment management
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset
• Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, understandable language
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Demonstrated passion for financial markets and ethical investing
• Comfortable using modern technology platforms and CRM tools
• Progress towards or completion of financial designations (CFA, CAIA, CFP, CIM, CSC)
• Registered as an Associate Advising Representative (AAR) with Canadian securities regulators or eligible to register
• Bonus : experience working at a boutique or scale-up asset management firm
