Job summary

Sorenson Communications is expanding our Video Relay Service (VRS) and seeking Interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting. Full and part-time positions are available in the US and in Canada.

Responsibilities include interpreting between ASL and spoken English, maintaining licensure requirements, and complying with FCC and RID standards. You will work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, support a customer-focused team, and continuously enhance skills through

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• Interpreter certification may be required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English.
• Maintain licensure/certification compliance.
• Demonstrate compliance with FCC regulations and RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Support a flexible work schedule for VRS demands.
• Learn and implement new technologies.
