Job description

RED Mountain Resort Bike Park is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to work as Bike Park Trail Crew members for the 2025 Summer Season! As part of the Bike Park Trail Crew, you will be responsible for maintaining existing bike trails, and building new trails, structures and features. This is heavy and physical outdoor work located at RED Mountain Resort.

The wage rate for this position is $18.00-20.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

The anticipated start date for this position is May 2025, ending in October 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Build and maintain bike trails to company and industry standards.
  2. Use hand and/or electric tools to construct trails and features.
  3. Monitor and maintain safe conditions on the trails.
  4. Place and maintain appropriate signage as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  1. High School Diploma
  2. Experience building and maintaining bike trails.
  3. Experience using hand tools, and other equipment as required.
  4. Understanding of risk management and mountain bike safety
  5. Knowledge of the existing terrain would be considered an asset.
Physical and Other Requirements
  1. High level of physical fitness and able to work in all weather conditions for up to 8 hours/day.
  2. Able to provide your own safety footwear and appropriate clothing. Other PPE will be supplied as needed.
  3. Intermediate level mountain biker.
Skills and Abilities
  1. Able to work both cooperatively in a team environment and independently under limited supervision.
  2. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  3. Strong mechanical aptitude.
