Servicing the GTA since 1982, we've grown from a family-run business into a team of over 100 certified HVAC and controls technicians, pipefitters, electricians, salespeople, in-house design engineers, and customer service representatives. Ambient Mechanical is committed to providing exceptional heating and cooling, ventilation, preventive HVAC maintenance, electrical, and DDC controls, as well as energy-efficient solutions.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the candidate is responsible for reviewing, qualifying, and assigning leads that come in through bidding sites, Ambient Mechanical field technicians, and sales representatives. In addition to what is internally generated, the Leads Specialist will be responsible for searching bidding sites for potential leads and bid opportunities.

This is a temporary role (covering an estimated 12-month maternity leave) but could lead to further employment opportunities.

Duties Include:

• Daily vetting of leads generated by bidding sites.
• Review the leads and apply screening criteria filters.
• Forward the leads that meet the criteria to the appropriate department.
• Scanning bidding sites for other opportunities (apply filters and forward if appropriate).
• Collect and organize tender documentation (insurance, qualifications, etc.)
• Build and manage “Bids in Progress” into a critical path document highlighting timing.
• Assist the Estimation Team as needed.
• Ensuring the successful submission of quotes and supporting documentation
• Follow up on bids we did not win to find out pertinent information that can help us in the future
