Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is looking for a BI Tech Lead – Qlik Sense. The BI Tech Lead acts as Technical Leader on all Business Intelligence development and operational projects and leads/coordinates development activities.

Responsibilities

• Participation in requirements identification and feasibility analysis, generation of technical solutions and design, coding, testing, quality assurance, implementation, and all supporting project artefacts and documentation.
• Collaborates with Architecture & Standards on creating frameworks, reference implementations, and coding standard practices to be incorporated into the Organization’s Architecture Blueprint.
• Develops visualizations and the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
• Works with the assigned Information Technology and Services (ITS) project team/program area and provides leadership and technical guidance to other ITS staff in the development of system designs and automated information flows/processes based on user requirements and specifications for system implementations, enhancements, and/or customisations.
• Ensure other Information Technology resources receive adequate information to perform their assigned project-related tasks; coordinates and ensures timely delivery of these assigned task deliverables.
• Responsible for updating project status and change request reporting, facilitates the maintenance of project plans, issue identification and resolution management, risk mitigation, and resource management.

Necessary Skills

• Extensive experience in a senior technical leadership role with the ability to supervise and mentor staff.
• Experience in using the Enterprise Architect and Microsoft Office suite of products, including MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Be proficient in Qlik Sense development, data modeling, and dashboards/visualizations, reporting techniques, extensions, and web integration of Qlik Sense apps to Drupal web pages through Mashups.
• Be proficient in AWS Quicksight BI development, and be proficient in using AI features in AWS Quicksight
• Have hands-on experience building applications with large data sets.
• Have hands-on experience with Data transformation, creation of QVD files, and set analysis, ODAG.
• Be experienced in application design, architecture, development, and deployment using Qlik Sense.
• Be able to understand and translate technical and business requirements into Qlik architectural designs.
• Be able to implement the proposed technical solution using the Cloud Technology stack (AWS, Redshift, S3, Informatica, Drupal).
• Be experienced with Qlik Management Console, including Management, Security rules, and Maintenance of tasks, Extensions, Streams, and Apps.
• Be experienced with handling performance issues with Qlik applications (Performance tuning).
• Have knowledge/experience in utilizing Qlik API’s for integration with web pages through true mashups.
• Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
