Job summary

TD is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to design, develop and implement reporting and analytics for Credit Loss Allowance & Business Insights. You will lead dashboards, scorecards and ad-hoc analyses, partnering with data owners and business leads to translate requirements into actionable insights.

You'll work with SAS/SQL, Azure, Databricks, Python, Power BI and Tableau to deliver portfolio insights across Credit Cards and Personal Lending, helping mitigate risk and inform key

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate.
• Seven (7) or more years relevant experience.
• Knowledge/Experience with SAS/SQL or other coding languages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure (Rahona), Databricks, Python, Power BI, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and provide leadership, tactical/technical direction and planning input for all business relevant information.
• Collaborate with business leads to elicit information requirements and articulate those requirements in a manner that can be easily understood by Business Intelligence Specialists.
• Collaborate with data owners to identify data elements to address reporting requirements and with various partners for metric definition activities.
• Streamline and improve existing reporting to eliminate errors and redundancies.
• Complete proactive and reactive ad-hoc analytics to address emerging and existing risks.
• Identify business drivers, definitions and metrics in order to interpret findings, take action and provide significant direction.
• Own the development and implementation of portfolio reporting (e.g. acquisition, attrition, portfolio growth, etc.).
• Elicit business requirements for reporting projects.
• Supply data analysis identifying operational and/or product trends.
• Craft and provide complex BI reporting, analysis and assessments at the function or enterprise level.
• Build and/or deliver point of view presentation communications to management or broader audience.
• Adhere to internal policies /procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct the review of internal processes and activities and assist in identifying potential opportunities to improve operation efficiencies.
• Provide ongoing project status communication and knowledge transfer within team and across businesses.
