Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 3 days/week)
Role 1 will be focused on Data Science needs primarily focused on Forecasting, Predictive Models, Media Mix Modelling, LTV Analysis etc.
Role 2 will support In-product analytics primarily focusing on any new feature reporting, product abandonment, dashboards, in-season analytics, funnel performance etc.
Responsibilities:
- Performs business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining. Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations.
- Works directly with the internal or external client to identify analytical requirements. May help to produce ad hoc data and reports. May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information. May occasionally guide less experienced business data analysts.
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills. Candidates will need to present data to Stakeholders both Business and Technical.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience working in web, product, marketing, or other related analytics fields
- Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
- Proven ability to apply scientific methods to solve real-world problems on web-scale data
- Strong business and product sense: delight in shaping vague questions into well-defined analyses and success metrics that drive business decisions
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Excel, with expertise in modern advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python.
- Experience in defining metrics and instrumenting data tracking in clickstream
- Excellent problem-solving skills and end to end quantitative thinking
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
- A great storyteller and communicator and can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical colleagues.
