Job summary

Hydro One is seeking a BI/analytics engineer to turn governed data into trusted analytics, dashboards, and self-service reporting. The role requires 3+ years in BI/analytics, strong SQL, and experience with major BI platforms and dimensional modelling.

The position offers a hybrid work model, with employees expected to work from the office a minimum of two days per week to collaborate and ensure data quality across reporting assets in Canada’s Ontario region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BI/analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL and data-visualization skills.
• Hands-on experience with a major BI platform and dimensional modelling.
• Experience with dbt or a semantic-layer tool is a plus.

• Monitor dashboard performance and usage, retiring stale content and optimizing high-traffic reports.
