Experience & Requirements

• Associate degree or RN Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in healthcare / nursing administration.
• Active RN license in the state where the position is located with unrestricted/non-probationary status. Specialty certification (e.g., CCHP, ACHE) desired.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Requires critical thinking, organizational skills, decisive judgment, communication skills, and good customer service skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work in a stressful environment, and take appropriate actions as needed.
• Must always follow YesCare and departmental policies and procedures.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.

A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities

Salary: $94,650 annually.

As a Behavioral Health Assistant Director of Nursing at YesCare, your responsibilities include:

• Serving as the senior clinical nurse for your respective area.
• Supervising the delivery of nursing services to inmates within your responsibility daily.
• Assisting in developing monthly staffing schedules one month in advance, coordinating with the HSA and BHDON, and adjusting personnel needs with Charge Nurses.
• Visiting each clinical area weekly to observe staff performance and discuss ongoing programs and issues.
• Ensuring timely submission of required data to Infection Control.
• Participating actively in continuous quality improvement activities or projects.
• Monitoring and tracking patient grievances and assisting Charge Nurses in addressing inmate grievances.
• Implementing and enforcing current policies and procedures, and recommending updates to the DON.
• Ensuring proper orientation for new staff before routine staffing assignments.
• Following standard precautions and using personal protective equipment as required.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.
