Description

Serves drinks to guests in a timely manner and is attentive to guests, making them feel welcomed at all times.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Observes guests to respond to their needs.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures regarding responsible beverage service, monitors guest consumption, and intervenes as needed.
• Takes beverage orders, communicates with the bartender, assists in drink preparation, and presents drinks to guests.
• Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, requests ID when necessary, and handles money securely.
• Maintains cleanliness and stock in the service area, provides fast and exceptional service, and maintains a round time of 20 minutes or less on the casino floor.
• Carrys trays of no more than 20 drinks, adheres to policies, and maintains knowledge of property information.
• Acts as an ambassador of goodwill, collaborates with team members, and resolves service problems.
• Provides personalized service, promotes casino events, and accepts disciplinary actions if standards are not met.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• High school diploma or GED, must be 21 years old.
• Previous experience preferred, with excellent guest service skills and effective communication.
• Ability to work flexible hours, stand/walk for extended periods, and handle fast-paced environments.
• Basic math skills, professional appearance, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills.

Training

Mandatory compliance training within 30 days of hire, including courses on safety, responsible gaming, anti-human trafficking, and others.

Working Conditions

Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and other tasks with specified frequency. Environmental conditions vary, including temperature extremes and noise levels. Check physical effort category: Medium work.
